Bust of Manolis Andronikos

Προτομή του Μανόλη Ανδρόνικου

A bronze bust of 1997 in the park facing the Archaeological Museum of Thessaloniki. Andronikos (1919–1992), archaeologist of the royal tombs of Vergina, art historian and beloved university teacher, is rendered with faithful physiognomy, his ethos underlined through plastic volume rather than detail.
