Twisted Passage

Two broad volumes twist around one another, opening a dark oval at the summit and a smaller aperture near the base. The opposing lateral projections make the compact body appear to turn in both directions at once. Fine ridges trace the spiral movement across the surface. The sculpture creates a passage whose shifting boundaries hold weight, light, and motion in tension.
