Branching Ascent

A slender organic form rises from a weighted base and divides abruptly into pointed branches. The trunk bends with muscular tension, while the forked crown reaches outward like antlers, flames, or new shoots. A small lateral projection interrupts the ascent and heightens the sense of growth under pressure. The sculpture holds vulnerability and force together in an image of expansion toward open space.
