The Standing Scholar

Ο Όρθιος Λόγιος

A full-length male figure stands in a long formal garment, one hand opening outward while the other gathers an object close to the body. The frontal stance is softened by the asymmetry of the arms and the slight turn of the torso. Restrained detail directs attention to the communicative gesture. The sculpture joins intellectual presence with accessibility and civic composure.
