Seed of Light

An arched organic body encloses a faceted central opening and touches the base through several slender supports. Smaller apertures punctuate the lower edges, making the mass appear porous and unexpectedly light. Soft reliefs drift across the crown like emerging leaves or clouds. The sculpture imagines light as a seed held within matter, preparing to open the surrounding form from the inside.
