Intertwined bodies are carved as a dense knot, with heads, shoulders, and arms folding toward a protected center. The figures remain partly absorbed by the stone, and this incomplete separation strengthens the sense of dependence between them. Incised textures mark hair and clothing, contrasting with the heavier rounded masses of the bodies. Each contact redirects the composition and holds it together. The sculpture understands bonds as both weight and refuge: a structure created through closeness, care, and mutual support.
